What is Amazon Smile?
AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon with the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will DONATE 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charitable organization of your choice such as SHPE South Florida Chapter!
To start, please go to smile.amazon.com and select the South Florida Professional Chapter of the Society of Hispanic Prof as your charitable organization and make sure to buy your items through Amazon Smile! Every item available for purchase on the normal www.amazon.com website is also available on AmazonSmile at the SAME price. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product detail pages.
The question may be, how do you do this on the move through your iPhone?
You are able to use Amazon Smile through the Amazon App!

Below you can find an alternative option to using Amazon Smile separate from the Amazon App.
If for any reason you cannot use Amazon Smile with the Amazon App on the iPhone, the good news is that you can set up a shortcut to the Amazon Smile website which gives a near identical experience to the app. It’s very quick and easy to do.
1. If you have the Amazon App installed, remove it. Tap and hold the app icon until it starts to jiggle. Tap the cross at the top left of the icon and confirm that you want to delete it. Don’t worry, this will not delete your Amazon account or any of your settings.
2. Load Safari (the iPhone internet browser) and go to smile.amazon.com and sign in with your normal Amazon.com credentials.
3. Tap the ‘share’ button on the bottom of the screen. Tap the ‘Add to Home Screen’ icon. You may need to swipe to the left to see this. Select Add to add the link to your Home Screen.
4. You will now have an Amazon Smile icon on your home screen which you can use in the same way you used the Amazon App. You can see the image below of how the new button looks similar to the previous Amazon app
